Q: Can anyone place an order?

A: No, you must be of legal drinking age in the country of purchase to place an order with us. By placing an order through this website you confirm that you are legally allowed to buy alcoholic beverages. If you are buying alcoholic beverages as a gift, both you and the recipient need to be of legal drinking age. If there is any doubt about the age of the purchaser or recipient then our courier may request some form of identification. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the beer.

Q: Is there a minimum purchase quantity?

A: No, although we do encourage you to order per 12 bottles to get better shipping rates.

Q: How do I redeem the gift card I received?

A: You can redeem the monetary value of a gift card by entering its unique code at checkout. Unlike gift certificates, a gift card holds a balance which can be spent over multiple transactions.

Q: Why does my checkout button display 'order not valid'?

A: This means you have exceeded the maximum quantity you can add for one or more items in your cart. Click on the 'order not valid' button to see which conditions have not been met, and update your shopping cart accordingly.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Yes, as long as your order has not been dispatched yet. Given the perishable nature of our products and the current hygiene requirements, you cannot cancel your contract once an order has been dispatched. For this reason goods are unable to be returned. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty.

If you wish to cancel your contract when your order has not been dispatched yet, please e-mail us at . Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

Q: Do all your prices include VAT?

A: All prices displayed exclude VAT and shipping. Belgium rate VAT will be applied to all orders with destinations to the European Union unless you are a non-Belgium VAT registered business.

Shipments to individuals and businesses in non-EU countries will not attract VAT.

 

Payment

Q: How do I pay my order?

To pay for your order, you can choose between different payment options.

We accept payment from the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club.

Or you can use PayPal to pay for your order. PayPal acts like a digital wallet where you can safely store all payment options such as bank account or credit card. When making a payment, there will be no need to pull out credit card or type billing information every time.

Q: I do not have a credit card, can I still place an order?

A: Yes, you can choose to pay your order with PayPal. They offer the flexibility to use your bank account, credit card or debit card.

Q: Can I checkout using any currency?

A: No, all orders are processed in EUR. While the content of your cart might be displayed in your selected currency (e.g. USD), you will checkout using EUR at the most current exchange rate.

 

Shipping and Delivery

Q: Do you deliver to my country?

A: We ship exclusively to the US, and most European countries. Please check the Shipping and Delivery page for the list of shipping countries.

Q: How long does it take for my order to arrive?

A: All orders are sent from Belgium by FedEx. Please allow 5-12 business days delivery. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email with a FedEx tracking number. You will then be able to track your parcel until it arrives.

Q: Where can I access the shipping costs for my order?

A: You can access the shipping costs per number of bottles ordered on the Shipping and Delivery page. Or, you can calculate your shipping charges from your shopping cart before you commence the ordering process.

Try ordering per 12 bottles to get better rates and reduce the per bottle shipping cost by adding more bottles to your order.

Q: Why is shipping so steep?

A: Even though we make every effort to give you the best rates for shipping, in some cases shipping costs might still seem quite steep. The reason for this is that we actually ship from Belgium and that bottled beer is heavy.

Try ordering per 12 bottles to get better rates and reduce the per bottle shipping cost by adding more bottles to your order.

Q: Can I track my order once it ships?

A: Yes, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email with a FedEx tracking number. You will then be able to track your parcel until it arrives.

Q: What if I am not available to receive my order on the day of delivery?

A: If you are not available to receive your order on the day of delivery, FedEx will automatically make a second and third delivery attempt on the next two consecutive days. They might also contact you by phone, so please make sure you enter a valid phone number when placing your order.

Q: What if my order is damaged in transit?

A: Your goods will be packed with the utmost care. We take every precaution to make sure your order arrives in optimal circumstances. In the event of breakages during transit please let us know promptly, so that we can make a claim against the carriers. If there is a problem with the goods, please e-mail us at to discuss the matter further.

Your claim will be examined and we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Q: Do I have to pay import duties and/or customs charges?

A: No, you will not be charged more for shipping and handling than what appears at checkout. Import duties and/or customs charges are included in your checkout price.

Q: Do you deliver to PO Box addresses?

A: For security reasons, we unfortunately, cannot ship to PO Box addresses.
